华人文化副总裁、华人影业总裁应旭珺在现场透露，《哪吒 2》在上映时就启动了英语版的制作，经过精心选角、制作及反复打磨，目前《哪吒 2》英文版制作已接近尾声，将定档今年暑期档，在北美和澳大利亚、新西兰首发。同时，《哪吒 2》还将展开流媒体发行，参与国际宣传发行体系，推动中国电影赢得全球观众喜爱。
《哪吒之魔童闹海》于 2025 年 1 月 29 日在中国内地影院上映后，获得普遍正面评价，后续经过四次密钥延期，现延长上映至 6 月 30 日。
